Adult 101 Fashion Design (3 classes)

Fashion is about vision, precision, and bringing ideas to life. In this hands-on studio, young designers learn to think like industry professionals while developing their own creative voice.

What you'll learn:

From first sketch to finished concept, students master the fundamentals of fashion design. You'll explore color theory—why certain combinations captivate and others clash—and apply these principles to your own collections. You'll build fluency in industry vocabulary, learning to speak the language of professional designers, buyers, and stylists.

The math of fashion runs through everything we do. Students work with ratios for scaling designs, measurements for fit and proportion, and calculations that bring precision to creative work. Rather than abstract exercises—we teach the real skills designers use every day.

In this class, you will:

• Design original pieces from concept through presentation

• Study color relationships and build cohesive palettes

• Learn professional terminology used in fashion houses and studios

• Apply measurement and ratio skills to pattern work and scaling

• Develop a portfolio showcasing your creative process

• 3 Classes at 1 Hour each
