Individual Student-Directed Sesssions

Private classes for the advanced student who is seeks help with portfolio development or specific honing of skills. 

Students arrive with their own idea such as a costume they want to create, a line they want to launch, a graphic novel  they want to complete, a craft they want to master, a specific skill they want to become proficient in.  Together the instructor and student transform their raw vision into polished, portfolio-ready work.

A portfolio of completed work that demonstrates real capability will give them an edge over their peers. Depending on the student's direction, this might include:

• Original designs with professional-quality documentation

• Functional prototypes or finished products

• Artist statements and project narratives

• Process documentation showing development from concept to completion

• Work samples suitable for college applications, apprenticeship interviews, or client pitches

The student's vision drives the work. The instructor's experience helps that vision become professional grade.
