In this intro course we use your child's favorite fashion design games to learn about the theory that brings design to life.
What you'll learn:
Using components from the game, we will show them how design theory and color theory were used to create their design. By starting with the game, we keep the children engaged at the level at which they have already been working while teaching them how to transition design theory from the game to their own day-to-day lives. They will learn how to apply the principles they learned in the game to the design of their own future fashion collections. They will learn industry vocabulary and theory that will allow them to move on to advanced fashion design classes.
In this class, you will:
Design online original pieces
Study color relationships and cohesive palettes
Learn professional terminology used in fashion houses and studios
3 Classes at 1 Hour each
We will use your favorite fashion video game as a starting pointing for understanding the fundamentals of design and style. Then move to designing your own clothes in class 102.
